ACI was formed in 1997 to provide consulting services to the construction industry. Under the leadership of Principals Harvey N. Abernathey, Paul J. Goetz, Manfred (Fred) Honeck, PE, Charles Saul, and Arin A. Nelson, AIA, ACI brings together a group of construction professionals with an industry background of over 100 years of recognized expertise in construction, waterproofing and surface protection. ACI is experienced in the critical phases of the building process and offers detailed on-site evaluation and expert follow-up services involving water infiltration detection, building envelope systems & integration, membrane & sealant technology, Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS), waterproofing restoration and lath/plaster systems. ACI's mission is to support legal, insurance, design and construction professionals through technologically competent consultant services specific to the discovery and resolution of moisture intrusion problems. ACI is a full service construction consulting firm, specializing in both "Field and In-House" window/wall (ASTM & AAMA) water and performance testing. ACI maintains an extensive historical technical library and association with specialty consultants to develop comprehensive and conclusive documentation and technical reports. ACI's staff continues to serve as advisors to special industry committees and as authors of specifications and trade literature. As regular participants and contributors to construction-related seminars and conferences, ACI's experts receive and present recent updates in construction technology, products and application methods.
